SOCAMEX is a division of the Urbaser Group that has been dedicated to integral water cycle management for more than 35 years. Its services cover everything from resource collection and purification, to treatment, regeneration, reuse, and even returning resources to the natural environment when needed.
With a workforce of more than 250 individuals, we at SOCAMEX complete design, construction, maintenance, and operation work for purification and treatment plants, water regeneration, and treatment facilities, and also provide technical assistance to companies and communities.
At SOCAMEX, we constantly work to transform our services by applying the latest technologies. Along these lines, and within the Smart Cities paradigm, we apply communications and information technology (CIT) to strengthen our services.

SOCAMEX’s activity contributes to sustainable development and improved water quality. We guarantee public access to this basic resource while ensuring that water returns to the natural environment in the same condition it was originally captured.

In total, we manage 53 services with nearly 200 installations. We count on 206 wastewater treatment stations for a total of 6 million individuals, manage 19 sewage operations for approximately 1.3 billion individuals, 15 water supply facilities serving more than 500,000 individuals, 10 purification plants for more than 400,000 individuals, and 7 control and analysis laboratories covering the water of more than 1.6 million individuals, In addition, Socamex is responsible for 2,568 kilometres of sewage lines, and is backed by a network of 28 self-priming lorries for industrial cleanup.
